Doctor Deepika Jadhav is a General Paediatrician with over 13 years experience in a variety of subspecialties including endocrinology, neurology and neonatal intensive care.
Deepika completed her Fellowship in Paediatrics at John Hunter Hospital and was awarded FRACP in 2015. In 2014 she was awarded a Masters in Public Health by University of Newcastle.
Prior to this she worked in Westmead Children’s Hospital where she completed a Diploma in Child Health. Deepika’s basic medical training was in India and in 2005 she was awarded the Diploma in Paediatrics by Choithram Hospital Indore, India .
Over all these years Deepika has pursued her passion of working with young people and looks forward to continue to do so. She has a special interest in Behavioral Disorders, Complex Developmental Issues and Eating Disorders in children.
She also enjoys working with challenges in General Paediatrics and Neonatalogy.
She lives in Newcastle with her husband, who is a medical doctor in General Practice, and two beautiful children, who always remind her why she loves her profession so much. Away from her professional life Deepika loves to cook and explore the great outdoors.
